After building 4 of these I kinda know where I want every thing no more reaching around things to find a spot for it.

 I don't follow the build sequence because I built a fixture to build the fuselage after the floor skin is finished.

Another step that doesn't follow the plans... If I don't install these now I can't install the gear supports while it is on the fixture.

Other side. BTW I have patterns of every piece that goes on the 601 so I don't have to use the rivet fan much any more and that saves a ton of time.

I used to use the lines supplied by Zenith in the cabin but decided to go this route from now on.

Cabin floor ready to attach to the forward gear channel and skin. It's sister 601 is waiting for this one to catch up to it so it can get finished up also.



Just wanted to see what the center section looked like. If you look close you will see Zenith has added the angle to them so no more little angles to cut.



Mounting the firewall to the forward floor skin. If you look closely you will see something different in the fuel system. we are going with the AERO CARB with an all new aluminum intake. The regulator can be set between 1 and 4 psi and will work great with the fuel pumps per Holly. More on this later.....
